TV Show Review: Game of Thrones, Season 3

Okay, so this may seem ridiculous to people but last night I actually stayed up and watched five episodes of GOT then today spent the day watching the other five. Now, I know what I've said about GOT but right now I'm seriously eager to take them all back. Well, okay...not all of it obviously. But some of it.

WARNING! This may turn to a rant. Just sayin'.

My first rant is about Sansa Stark. Where is her storyline? Where is her growth, her personal development because of the hardships she has to have endured? There's nothing there! She is still the whimpering and whiny child we were first introduced to in Season 1. And after three seasons there is no change her on her personality. I love Sansa, I think she's is a caring, self-conscious, and normal teenager but I would love a more interesting plot line and character development. All she is at the moment is a pawn for everyone to be sold of like a slave in the best agreement.

Unlike a certain blonde almost white haired character we know and probably most of us have come to love. Yes I'm talking about the one and only Daenerys Targaryen. Who we've seen suffer through so much hardship. From having an annoying (times infinity) brother, Khal Drogo (no spoilers), a child, Quath and her dragons. Now, I absolutely loved her story line in Season 3 it equally tied with my love of her story line in Season 1. Season 2 for me was a total snore fest. So I was absolutely delighted with her plot line in this season! I cannot express my happiness about her character growth and development. Plus the love interest (wink wink) is a total hottie and so on her level. Of course no one can equal to Khal Drogo my friends.

Okay I feel I am loosing readers with my snort fest of praising so I will continue on. Jamie Lannister's story line bored me half to death. Literally I was walking to my grave while watching his scenes. And so did Rob Starks. While Theon Greyjoy's scenes - ugh. ugh. Please the guy just needs to die! He is nothing whiny and annoying little brat.

Now Arya Starks was actually interesting. Seeing her jump to different characters while trying to survive the war. She's probably the only one who shares the screen with so many other actors. God, I love her character, her strength and her witiness. She's someone to watch for. While her storyline was interesting I would love to see her reunite with someone in her family.

Bran Stark and Rickon Stark's adventures finally on the road. I am so excited to see what is ahead for them. Bran's finally showing who he truly is, he is growing and developing. I absolutely love it! It's so great to see him growing even though of his disability. What I love about it is he's not using it as an excuse at every possible moment. Actually I have not once heard him use it as an excuse during season 3. He'll be interesting to watch in the upcoming seasons.
